The Chinese Catholic Community/Disabilities Today Chinese Catholics in the Archdiocese of Detroit now have their own worshiping community at Divine Savior Parish. Most of the community are members of The Chinese Catholic Society of Michigan which was established in 1997. The small, but growing group has a membership of 30 families.Ned McGrath welcomes Fr. Raphael Shen, S.J. and Francis King as they discuss the evangelization of Chinese Catholics. Roger McCarville life's mission is to help the disabled by providing information via his tv and radio shows. Since becoming disabled himself as a result of a boating accident 31 years ago, Roger has become an ambassador for those with disabilities and urges them to "Get up, get out and get involved."
