Bishop Cooney suffers heart attack

Cardinal Maida joins with the priests and people of the Diocese of Gaylord in praying for Bishop Patrick Cooney. The onetime auxiliary bishop of Detroit, 73, suffered a heart attack on January 5, 2008 and is resting comfortably following open heart surgery.
