Avoid and/or Achieve a Pregnancy

Natural Family Planning, NFP, is a way of life by which a couple recognizes natural, biological signs of fertility and infertility. To avoid pregnancy the couple abstains from all sexual contact during the fertile time. To achieve pregnancy the couple engages in marital intercourse during the fertile time.

Individual chart reviews are recommended for effective use of any NFP method. Chart reviews can be arranged by contacting an NFP teacher or the Archdiocesan coordinator.

Purchase NFP Video

Send $20 check or money order, payable to NFP, to the Natural Family Planning office.

An OB/GYN, Nurse Practitioner, and a parish priest along with seventeen couples share their professional and personal experiences with NFP on a two disk DVD addressing medical and moral aspects of NFP.

You are encouraged to work through a set of discussion questions that addresses each segment on the DVD. A leader's guide with answers to these questions is available by email on purchase of the DVD.
